About readme

A reading journal that doubles as a profile.

readme exists so that reading, which otherwise leaves no trace, adds up to something you can look at: a year of finished books, the passages you kept, a tier list of everything you have loved. You log what you read and where you stopped; the stats, timelines and your profile follow from that.

It is a personal project, designed and built by Raphael Lubaschewski. There is no company behind it, no advertising and no tracking.

Where the book data comes from

Book details and covers come from Google Books and Open Library. Facts about authors, such as where they come from, come from Wikidata.
